Located in the heart of Sogndal, Hofslund Fjord Hotel is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable kayak adventure on the Sognefjord.

Leave the town behind and paddle straight from the hotel into the spectacular fjord landscape. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, calm fjord and fresh Norwegian air, you’ll experience the Sognefjord from a completely different perspective.

Our 2.5-hour guided kayaking tour is suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Along the way, there is also a chance to spot seals, dolphins and other wildlife in their natural surroundings.

This is more than kayaking — it’s a chance to get close to the fjord, experience Norwegian nature and create memories you’ll take home with you.

We offer flexible departure times throughout the day and adjust according to weather and wind conditions.

Take with you:

Dress according to the weather forecast, and always bring a wind- or waterproof jacket.
Remember to pack an extra set of clothes – capsizing can happen.
On warm summer days, we also recommend bringing swimwear, a hat, and sunscreen.
